Our story
Foundation
The hotel was founded by my grandparents in the early 40s, at the same time that the history of the fishing village began, which started as and still has the only fishermen’s guild of the Mar Menor. In the 60s, facilities were expanded, and it went from being an inn to a small hotel, now called Neptuno, and my parents began managing it, which lasted until the year 2000.
During the early eighties, the old hotel was torn down and the current building with 30 rooms and a 2-star rating was built. And in the 90s, it was expanded with an additional floor and 10 more rooms, reaching 3 stars and giving the hotel its current form.
Always united to the Mar Menor
A symbiosis that made us adopt the symbol of the Mar Menor, the seahorse, as our logo and also its silhouette. Our history cannot be understood without each other.
